It uses a firm, but gentle pressure to improve circulation and flexibility, ease muscle aches and tension, and promote relaxation. This massage treatment is of the neck, arms, legs, back, & hips. Therapeutic Massage is the systematic manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of promoting circulation of the blood and lymph, relaxing the muscles, relieving pain and the restoration of metabolic balance. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage. This is a treatment of Therapeutic massage with hot stones. Indian Head (Scalp) Massage involves massage, shiatsu and acupressure techniques on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. This relaxes tense areas while helping to re-balance the energy, clearing any areas of negativity. Deep Tissue-Ashiatsu Massage The client is on a low massage therapy table and the therapist performs the massage either standing or seated on a stool or chair. It combines Swedish, Myofascial, and compression techniques that are applied to the body with the therapist's feet. Ashiatsu is an art, where the feet glide effortlessly over the contours of the client's body. Special ashiatsu cream facilitates the hypnotic movements of the routine. The pressure can be as light as a swedish massage or the deepest massage a therapist can give. Ashiatsu treatments are a more effective application of deep tissue massage. The pressure is constant and evenly maintained. It creates more circulation. More circulation brings about faster healing. Ashiatsu brings about a relaxed state that last for hours after a massage service. Clients don't walk out of a session - they float. Reflexology Dating back to ancient Egypt and China, this ancient art and science uses pressure points on the hands and feet to help heal and revitalize the entire body. It helps to adjust the energy flow in order to keep the organs in a constant state of balance. Reflexology aids circulation detoxification and glandular, muscular and nerve function. It calms the body by releasing stress. Foot Reflexology A cousin of acupuncture, foot reflexology involves pressing reflex areas on the feet. These areas correspond to organs and systems of the body. Foot reflexology cleanses the mind and body and revitalizes energy. A common theory of reflexology holds that massaging certain areas of the feet restores health by breaking up and dispersing "crystals". (Sometimes called Zone Therapy) Hand Reflexology This is a form of reflexology whose focus is the hand. It is one of the two basic modes of Zone Therapy. Whole Body Reflexology Reflexology can be achieved more effectively working the whole body, not only at the feet, hands and ears, but also the scalp and face..Acupuncture and massage are two of the main means of the whole body reflexology. Back Facial The back facial will improve the appearance and tone of the skin, as well as relax the back muscles. It includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation, a purifying mask, hydrating treatment, and massage. Rejuvenation Facial Massage is a pampering facial which emphasizes rehydration and de-stressing the skin. (Does not include deep pore cleansing or extraction.) Body Brushing helps our lymphatic drainage system to remove toxins from the body. In so doing, it helps to reduce cellulite in our thighs and buttocks where fats, proteins and waste products tend to accumulate. Body brushing is not a miracle cure for cellulite, but it does help, especially if you improve your dietary habits. Thirty minutes dry body brushing helps cellulite by getting fluid moving and boosting blood flow. Herbology is the use of specific herbs and plants for medicinal purposes that has been practiced for millennia all over the world in different cultures. The healing powers of herbs have been used to balance the emotional, mental and physical dimensions in humans and animals as well. Herbal therapy uses various herbal combinations for healing, as well as cleansing purposes. They are used in the form of tablets, capsules, salves, oils, tinctures, extracts, teas, herbal baths, poultices and much more. Herbs may be used internally ore externally, depending on the herb. They are a valuable adjunct to many therapies, addressing both the symptoms and causes of a problem offering nutrients, body balancing and detoxification. Herbs can also be used in preventative therapy. Kinesiology-Muscle Testing-Surrogate Applied Kinesiology is a method of diagnosis which, when used in conjunction with standard diagnostic testing, allows for a more dynamic evaluation of the human body. The practitioner can test the patient's muscles with a simple procedure whereby they put their fingers onto the patient's arm and wrist. While working in the energy they can program responses from the body and brain to respond to questions. |
